President Mahmoud Abbas grants the Bethlehem passport to Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican

The first Bethlehem passport was granted to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI by President Mahmoud Abbas in a ceremony at the Vatican. The passport has inspired many people around the world to feel that everyone has a stake in saving our city. Passport  holders have gone on to become Ambassadors for Bethlehem, and earned a special place in our hearts.
